Analysis
Falaknuma Das starts off with a bang and the characterizations have been well penned. The first half of Falaknuma Das is stuffed with all the ingredients and it will thrill the masses. The songs and the background score are the major highlights of the film. The interval episodes elevate the film well. On the whole, the first half of Falaknuma Das is decent and sounds different.
The second half of Falaknuma Das starts on an interesting note but the film soon dips down badly. The film fails to stand tall and leaves the audience irritated. The climax episodes too are not convincing and the entire second half of Falaknuma Das looks predictable. On the whole, Falaknuma Das is a below average attempt and fails to impress the audience.
Performance
Vishwak Sen tops the show with his outstanding performance throughout the film. He carried the entire film on his shoulders. Saloni Mishra and Harshita Gaur have limited roles and they look decent. Uttej has a prominent role assigned and he lives up the expectations. Abhinav and Tharun Bhascker had interesting roles and they did their roles. All the other actors have been decent.
Falaknuma Das has a decent plot and the first half looks good. But the second half of Falaknuma Das fails to live up the expectations. The dialogues have been good and the screenplay looks puzzled. The music, background score have been good and the cinematography work suits the mood of the film. The production values have been grand and Vishwak Sen fails badly as a director though he shines well as an actor.
Final Word
The second half of Falaknuma Das tests the patience of the audience and it makes the film fall flat. Vishwak Sen performs his best.
