The rest of Rangasthalam is all about the conflict between the President, Kumar Babu and how Chitti Babu takes the lead. Watch Rangasthalam to know about the rest.
Analysis
Rangasthalam is one of the finest scripts penned by Sukumar and his team. The film will take you to the mood of the village set across the Godavari banks in 1980s. The entire first half looks racy and most of the time has been taken to narrate the important characters. The songs are a treat to watch and one will fall in love with the cute love track between Chitti Babu and Rama Lakshmi. The interval episodes top the show and the entire first half looks engaging and entertaining to the core.
The second half of Rangasthalam too has been decent but the film dips down at times. The political drama and the revenge plot have been well explained. The episodes of Aadhi's death and funeral will leave the audience in tears. The songs are a treat once again and the last twenty minutes of the film is the major highlight. Ram Charan and his team shines throughout and Rangasthalam is one film that should not be given a miss.
Performance
Ram Charan shines in the rustic role and his character has been designed with utmost care. The actor owned the role and his hard work has been completely visible on screen. Ram Charan will sure manage to win all the awards for Rangasthalam. Samantha is one more surprise and her role as Rama Lakshmi is a treat. She shined throughout and over performed in the songs. Jagapathi Babu looked ruthless and is perfect as a bloody President. Anausya Bharadwaj has been extremely supportive and manages to impress the audience well. All the other actors have been decent in their assignments.
The story of Rangasthalam happens in a small village and is laced with love, emotions, action, entertainment and heroism. The screenplay and the dialogues are the major highlight of Rangasthalam. The music and the background score along with the cinematography are the major assets of Rangasthalam. The production values have been extremely grand and elevated the film well. Rangasthalam is the finest work of Sukumar till date and he will be widely appreciated for his work.
Final Word
Charan and Sukumar needs wide applause for their stupendous work throughout. Rangasthalam is sure a film that should not be missed and is worth watching. A well blended village based political drama.
