Story

Nenu Local is the story of Babu (Nani) who is careless about his career and loves to lead a simple life. He falls in love with Keerthy (Keerthy Suresh) who aims bigger in life. By the time he convinces her, Babu gets the real twist in his life. Analysis

The first half of Nenu Local looks completely entertaining and racy. The movie has a packed love story which impresses the audience to the core. The songs look extremely fresh and they have been placed well. The interval episode make the film interesting and Nani dominates the show with his flawless comic timing. On the whole the complete first half has been entertaining throughout. 

The second half of Nenu Local too manages to stand tall and Nani keeps the film going with his momentum. Some of the emotional episodes will impress the family audience big time and the movie turns slower at parts. It is the pre-climax episodes that gain back the momentum. The climax is a huge asset for the film and on the whole the second half of Nenu Local makes no mistake and keeps the audience engaging.

Performance

Nani has been extremely stupendous with his comic timing and his performance is the film’s major highlight. For the first time, he stepped into the shoes of a mass role which will sure strike hard. Keerthy Suresh makes no mistake with her simple and energetic performance throughout the film. Posani Krishna Murali and Eswari Rao exelled as Nani’s parents and Sachi Khedekar has been decent. 

Nenu Local has a simple story with a strong screenplay and touching dialogues. The music and the background score are the film’s other highlights. The cinematography makes a huge difference and the production values make the film look quite colourful. Trinadha Rao excelled completely in blending out one more out and out commercial entertainer with Nenu Local.
