Analysis
The first half of 100 Days of Love has been dead slow and the director completely concentrated in searching for the heroine for the first half. Most of the episodes have been dragged much which will irritate the audience. The songs have been decent and Dulquer Salman has been outstanding and energetic throughout the first half though Nithya Menen has nothing much to do. The interval episodes turns interesting and on the whole the first half of 100 Days of Love has been just ok.
The second half of the film turns interesting yet the breezy slow narration makes the film disappointing. Some of the episodes have been narrated well and the performances by the lead actors make the film stay lively. Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen performed beyond their limits and their performances along with their chemistry is said to be the film’s major highlight. The last fifteen minutes of the film make the film interesting and on the whole 100 Days of Love has been a below average flick.
Performance
Dulquer Salman has been decent in the assigned role and he has been energetic throughout the movie. He excelled in the role of Rao Gopal Rao. Nithya Menen who proved her acting skills several times did a decent job in the assigned role. She has been perfect for the role and is one of the film’s major highlight. The story of 100 Days of Love has nothing much to do and it has been ages old. The screenplay, dialogues have been below average. The music and songs have been just ok. The cinematography has been dull and the editing has been quite bad. The production values have been just ok and the director failed to keep the audience engaging.
