Analysis
Kshanam is an unusual concept that has been written well, framed well and projected well with lot of interest. The audience will stick to their seats eagerly waiting for the next twirl that comes as they have lot to get surprised. The process of searching a baby girl has been narrated in an interesting way and the complete movie has been laced with loads of human emotions that touch you. A mother’s pain, a father’s restlessness and a guy’s struggle has been told in the best available way with Kshanam. The complete first half of Kshanam will leave you amazed throughout and the audience get habitual of the next twirl and they get prepared for the coming suspence.
After such a gripping first half, the second half too maintains the momentum. Yes, there are flaws at times but the movie has been well elevated back at the right time making the audience think too much about the next happening episode. Frankly saying my brain worked too hard and was even eager to see the climax first if there is a possibility. The complete second half too has been amazing, interesting and it will be a work for your brains.
Performance
Adivi Sesh comes back with a bang for sure and he finds his place in each and every frame of the film. He carried the film completely on his shoulders and his sensible performance is sure a treat for the audience. Though it is late, he will sure make his place prominent in Tollywood. Adah Sharma comes up with a challenging role and she has given out her best for the film. Anasuya Bharadwaj is surprising and perfect in the role of a cop. Satyadev has been good enough and Ravi Varma has been explosive. Rajesh and Vennela Kishore did a decent job with the assigned roles.
The story of the movie has been revealed with the trailer itself. It is just about searching a small girl who goes missing. The screenplay by Adivi Sesh and Ravikanth should have a special mention for sure. It has been gripping enough and the twists placed at the right time. The dialogues by Abburi Ravi have been decent and apt. The background score of Kshanam has been racy and it elevated the film at the right moments. The songs have been melodious and the cinematography was good. The production values by PVP have been lavish and grand. Ravikanth sure makes an interesting debut with a gripping murder mystery narrated interesting.
Final Word
Kshanam is an emotional, gripping and interesting thriller that will make your day. Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma excel with their performances and an impressive debut by Ravikanth Perepu. Kshanam is a must watch film.
