Story
Bengal Tiger is the story of Akash who aims a big future without taking much risk. He aims to become a celebrity and famous with his caliber and potential. Life changes when he hits the Agricultural Minister (Shiyaji Shindey) with a stone and his impressive thoughts change his life. He then moves to Home Minister Nagappa (Rao Ramesh) who makes him his personal security. Akash impresses Nagappa’s daughter Shradda (Rashi Khanna) big time and she falls for him. At this time Akash dreams of marrying Meera (Tamannah), the only daughter of Chief Minister Ashok Gajapathi (Boman Irani). The rest of the movie is why Akash targets Chief Minister and his daughter. Watch the movie to know about the rest.
Analysis :
The first half of the movie has been thoroughly entertaining though the director misses the major logics. The entertainment impresses the audience completely and the songs have been shot well. Posani Krishna Murali and Prudhvi’s comedy connects well and fills the auditorium with huge laughs. The pre interval episodes have been predictable and on the whole the first half of the movie has been impressive enough for the audience.
The second half of Bengal Tiger is the game changer and is crucial actually. But the director could not make it big because of the screenplay which has never been gripping. The unwanted action episodes come at every unknown minute which leaves the audience confused. The main logics have not been narrated well and the movie becomes completely predictable during the pre climax episodes. The climsx ends up as expected with a huge action episode. The complete second half is the major downfall of the movie.
Performance :
The story of Bengal Tiger has been slim and crisp enough and is quite predictable. The screenplay has not been taken enough care of. The dialogues have been decent enough and the comedy episodes have been written well. The music and the background score have been good enough and well contributed. The cinematography has been eye catchy and every spent rupee has been visible on screen. The production values have been extra grand. The director failed to come out with an engaging second half which ruins the complete flavour of the movie.
Final Word:
Bengal Tiger is a mass entertainer that misses all the needed ingredients in the second half. Though the first half impresses, the second half of the movie makes the film fall flat.
