Megastar Chiranjeevi is on a break and he took two complete years to complete Syeraa. After the grand release of the film, he enjoyed the success and is preparing himself for his next project. This untitled project will be directed by Koratala Siva and is said to be a social drama. The pre-production work of the film has been wrapped up recently and the regular shoot of the film will start from December. Trisha will play the female lead in this untitled project.

The makers initially held talks with Bollywood music duo Ajay - Atul for the film. But later, they are said to have finalized ace music composer Mani Sharma for the film. Mani Sharma already started composing the songs for the film. This untitled project has been launched officially during Dasara. Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Production Company are the producers. The makers are in plans to release the film during the Independence Day weekend next year.
