Samsung going to bring its world's fastest Wi-Fi technology 802.11ad Wi-Fi technology that can turbocharge network speeds fivefold can speed up downloads to 4.6 GB per second.

Samsung says, a 1GB movie file can transfer from one device to another in under 3 seconds.

With special feature of "high-performance modem technologies and by developing wide-coverage beam-forming antenna.

Samsung says that it would be putting the sci-fi technology to use in its gadgets,like the first is the speed that can be attained in the laboratories free of any obstacles.

The second type of speed is the actual speed that the normal users will get.To overcome speed, technology will be used in a free environment, the speed will go up to a baffling 5GBps per second. But in actual, the normal household speed can only touch up to 2.4 GBp

The 60GHz is an unlicensed band spectrum globally, along with 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectrum comercialization is expected to come by next year but there is no infromation about when the Samsung products supporting 60GHz Wi-Fi will be available in the market.says samsung.
