Korean mobile manufacturer Samsung has decided to hit Apple head on with a tablet range in the 8” segment only just after Apple has launched its Apple iPad Mini with Samsung Galaxy Note 510. The phone is now available for pre-booking for Rs 30,990 a piece and but no shipping date was listed.
The 8 inch tablet will not be able to make calls like its cousin, Tab 2 but it has far more superior features on the tablet end. A WXGA screen, dual cameras 5MP on rear and 1.3 MP on the front allow for several benefits.
It is slightly on the bulkier side with the weight of 338 grams but is a beast when it comes to performance and multitaksing which are enabled by the A9 quad-core processor and a 2GB RAM. External support of SD card up to 64GB along with either 16/32GB of internal storage leaves you plenty of room for your favorite movies and other applications.
Pre-booking will bestow on you a rich book like case worth Rs. 2,699. With all the standard Samsung features on high end tabs like Chat-On 2.0 messenger, Awesome Note and more the device is pretty slick already. S -Pen enabled 510 only offers better performances with Air View, S Note, S Planner, Email with hand-writing integration etc.
