Red Magic 10 Pro With Snapdragon 8 Elite Launched

Red Magic 10 Pro was launched in global markets on Thursday, a month after its launch in China. The global version of the Pro model has the same specifications as the Chinese version, except that it foregoes the 120W fast charging support and opts for the slightly slower 100W charging. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and features a dual-pump vapor chamber with liquid metal cooling to reduce heat. The Red Magic 10 Pro starts at $649 (approximately Rs. 55,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. There are two other storage configurations: the 16GB + 512GB model priced at $799 (approximately Rs. 68,000) and the 24GB + 1TB model priced at $999 (approximately Rs. 85,000). Early access begins December 12th in Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, North America, the Middle East, UK and US, and open sales begin December 18th. Three colors: sunset, moonlight and shadow.

The Red Magic 10 Pro Dual SIM (Nano+Nano) runs Android 15-based Red Magic 10.0 out of the box. The phone features a 6.8-inch full HD+ (1216 x 2688 pixels) BOE Q9+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits maximum brightness, 10-bit color depth and DCI-P3 coverage -Color space of 100%. Under the hood is Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. It also features a dedicated Red Core R3 graphics chip that is said to improve graphics through dual frame insertion, 2K upscaling, and artificial intelligence (AI) stabilization. To reduce heat, the company says its latest phone is equipped with the ICE-X Magic cooling system, which features a 12,000-square-foot dual-pump vapor chamber, graphene plates and liquid metal cooling. As for optics, the Red Magic 10 Pro has three cameras on the back, including a 50-megapixel main camera with an OmniVision OV50E40 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an OmniVision OV50D sensor and a 120-degree Field The setup features a 2 OmniVision OV02F10 megapixel (FoV) macro camera. It also has a 16MP front camera for selfies.

The connectivity options of this phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB 3.2 Type-C port. Red Magic 10 Pro is equipped with a 7050mAh dual-cell battery that supports 100W fast charging.
