Samsung says the Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone offers a host of new AI-powered features and Tools that take advantage of the foldable device's large screen to improve productivity. Samsung, in collaboration with Google, has launched the Gemini artificial intelligence experience for its new book-style foldable smartphone. Samsung has stated that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone will allow users to access the Gemini AI assistant and get help in a multi-window display on the built-in folding screen without leaving the app.

Unlike Google's Gemini, Samsung's Galaxy AI uses a large foldable display to increase productivity. The Interpreter feature on the Galaxy Fold 6 smartphone offers a new conversation mode where both parties can easily see translations on the homepage and cover page, making interaction more natural. In addition to the large screen, the Galaxy AI leverages S Pen integration for the Sketch-to-Image feature, allowing users to create image-quality sketches. Samsung says the feature allows users to convert their sketches and drawings into AI-generated images when they draw on photos in the gallery or on the note screen. In terms of hardware upgrades, Samsung said the Fold 6 smartphone features a steam chamber that is 1.6 times larger than its predecessor to reduce heat. To improve the gaming experience on the foldable device, Samsung has added ray tracing support to the internal 7.6-inch display to improve in-game graphics. Additionally, the main screen is now brighter with a brightness of 2600 nits.

Samsung says it has improved its 3.4-inch Super AMOLED display, which it calls a “Flex Window,” to enable AI-powered features without having to open the device. Samsung Flex Window on the Flip 6 also offers suggested AI reactions to messages, Samsung Health updates, and more. Samsung has also added several new widget options for the cover screen. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 also offers a new customization option called Photo Ambient, which uses artificial intelligence to change the wallpaper in real-time based on the time of day and weather.

In the camera department, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 features a new 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The main camera offers up to 2x zoom at the sensor level and up to 10x zoom with software optimization. The camera gets further improvements in terms of software as Samsung has introduced a new auto-zoom feature for clicking photos via the Flex window. Samsung says FlexCam automatically finds the best frame for your shot by detecting your subject and zooming in and out before making necessary adjustments. Samsung has also worked with third-party social media apps like Instagram to integrate night photography features into its in-app camera for low-light shots.
