The Oppo Reno 12 5G series is set to make its way to the Indian market in the near future. While the exact launch date has not been officially announced by the Chinese tech company, recent reports have provided insights into the potential release timeline and the expected hardware configurations. The upcoming Reno models, which have already been unveiled globally, are powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300-Energy SoCs and boast impressive features such as triple rear cameras and 50-megapixel front-facing cameras, along with 5,000mAh batteries. According to the latest information, the India launch of the Oppo Reno 12 5G series is anticipated to take place on July 12. The standard Reno 12 5G is expected to be offered in an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the Reno 12 Pro 5G is rumored to come in 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage options. In international markets outside China, the base model is available at a price of EUR 499.99 (approximately Rs. 44,700), while the Pro variant can be purchased for EUR 599.99 (roughly Rs. 53,700) with 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Flipkart and Oppo India have set up special pages on their websites to build anticipation for the launch of their latest smartphone models. These Indian versions will come equipped with various AI-powered capabilities, such as AI Record Summary, AI Clear Voice, and AI Writer. The Chinese editions of the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro are powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition and Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition chips, respectively. On the other hand, the global variants will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoCs. All the new Oppo phones will sport dual 50-megapixel cameras and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, along with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, they will be equipped with 5,000mAh batteries that support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
