Just after a year of launching OnePlus One, the Startup Chinese smartphone maker unveiled an update version, OnePlus 2 smartphone amidst an outbreak of rumors and leaks about how the phone will look like.
Availability of OnePlus 2 smartphone
You don’t have to wait long as OnePlus 2 is set to come to India, US, Canada, EU and China on 11 August 2015. Amazon will exclusively make 64Gb OnePlus 2 model available for purchase from August 11, whereas the 16GB OnePlus 2 model with 3GB LPPDR4 RAM will be available for purchase later in 2015.
The cost of OnePlus 216GB model will be Rs 22,999 and 64Gb model OnePlus 2 cost will be Rs 24,999. The Chinese company will roll out the device in the fourth quarter in Southeast Asia.
Design of OnePlus 2 smartphone
While OnePlus 2comes with the company’s classic Sandstone Black back cover, the device will debut with four StyleSwap covers that is, Bamboo, Black Apricot, Rosewood and Kevlar. OnePlus has added its own in-house software (called OxygenOS). It looks premium because of the metal-design. The smart phone with 5.5-inch 1080p display comes with a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.
OnePlus says, “The fingerprint scanner is faster than the iPhone TouchID and lets you save up to five fingerprints.”
