Iheme's name could become one that fans will sing for a long time. The 14-year-old ran the 100m at the Lee Valley Athletics Center in an incredible time of 10.30 seconds, breaking Sachin Dennis' previous record of 10.51 seconds. Just two years ago, at the age of 12, Divine Iheme ran the 100 meters in 11.3 seconds. The teenager made significant progress with 10.30 seconds, breaking the “world record” for his age group. If Iheme continues to progress at the same pace, the legendary Usain Bolt's 100m record of 9.58 seconds could be in danger. Divine Iheme isn't the only teenager making waves in the 100-meter dash. 16-year-old Australian Gout recently surprised the athletics world.

He made headlines at the Queensland Athletics Championships in March when he ran the 100m in an impressive 10.29 seconds. The two could continue to compete for years, creating a duopoly similar to what Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo did for nearly two decades. Like Iheme, Gout was also compared to Bolt after showing blistering speed on the track. “Usain Bolt is without a doubt the greatest athlete of all time and it feels good to be compared to him, so it's fantastic,” Guth told news.com.au in April. "Obviously I have gout so I'm trying to make a name for myself." He revealed he respects Elion Knighton and Noah Lyles, who won the 100m gold. “I love Elion Knighton because he is a young man competing with the best, and Noah Lyles is having some crazy days,” Gout said.
