Indians bagged 100 Gold medals on their 14th day at the Asian Games 2023, in Hangzhou, the People's Republic of China. Jyothi Surekha and Ojas Pravin Deotale have bagged two Golds in the Archery contingent in men's and women’s compound. In Archery India also bagged silver and bronze from Abhishek Verma and Aditi Gopichand.
The Women's Kabaddi team had a stunning victory over Chinese Taipei in the final, which resulted in one more gold for India, that is the 100th gold medal. India is also expecting one more gold in Men’s double badminton from Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the Asian Games athletes for reaching the unprecedented milestone of 100 medals in the ongoing Asian Games. On Saturday Modi took his Twitter to praise the athletes for their phenomenal performance.
