Sylvester Stallone aka Rambo is all set to make a blazing comeback, albeit on the small screen.
A little birdie tells us that talks are on to launch a “Rambo” television series. Sylvester Stallone has been approached, but we are yet to know his say on it.
Entertainment One and Nu Image have joined hands to d create a small-screen edition of the action franchise. If all goes well, then you can see Stallone reprise his famous role as Rambo on TV.
The first "Rambo" film, "First Blood," was released in 1982, followed by three sequels. The last franchise, "Rambo IV," couldn't make it big. And though Stallone has talked about a "Rambo V," we are yet to see the film hit the floors.
Even if Stallone gives a nod to "Rambo" TV series, it's unlikely that he'll feature as the lead star. Apparently, the actor has had a busy year until now with films like "Escape Plan" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and "Grudge Match" with Robert De Niro, and "Expendables 3." He's also set to reprise his even more famous role of Rocky Balboa in a "Creed" movie.
So the next big question is, even if “Rambo” hits the TV, who will play the legendary title role?
