After much wait and anticipation that almost tested the audience's patience, Keanu Reeves' Japanese Samurai flick – 47 Ronin is gearing up for release. The film is due in December. Long wait still, we know!

Replete with action, this warrior movie narrates the story of 47 warriors who avenge the death of their master by killing Lord Kira.

 

Keanu plays the role of Kai, an outlaw, who assists the Ronin in their pursuit.

Quite interestingly, the 47 Ronin existed in real. In fact, they were a group of samurais who actually slayed Lord Kira in the 18th century.

47 Ronin will hit the big screens on December 25.
