Britain's biggest, best and much-awaited musical event – the Glastonbury 2013 kicked off amidst massive frenzy at Worthy Farm in Somerset on 26 June, Wednesday. With 135,000 fans expected daily and performances by megastars like Rolling Stones and 2,000 others lined up, the sprawling five-day long event is expected to rock this year.
A huge gathering of fans carrying crates of beer, rucksacks, and tents are already on their way to attend this 50-year-old festival.
Campers willing to shell off extra bucks can opt for “glamping” instead, with accommodation companies providing golf buggies to navigate the 364ha site, ready-pitched tents, champagne on ice, private toilets and hot showers.
With the weather expected to be warm and cozy, 2013 Glastonbury music festival is likely to turn out unusually good for its fans and followers.
