Yesteryear Bollywood diva Sridevi, who blazed down the screen just recently with her stupendous act in “English Vinglish” is busy turning down films these days. Ask why?
Well, it's not that the actress is acting pricey and all that. It's just that Sridevi isn't getting any script worth her salt. Also, at this juncture of her second innings in Bollywood, the actress just wants to play her cards right.
The actress recently expressed her deep interest in working with Prabhu Deva.
The actress apparently said, "I am listening to a lot of stories. Prabhu Deva has always been my favourite dancer, actor, choreographer. If there is something, then I would definitely like to work with him."
She further hinted, "Right now I am listening to the story and very soon you will get to know about the film.”
Sridevi made a comeback to Bollywood after 15 years last year with the critically lauded 'English Vinglish' that showed that the star still had the spunk very much alive in her.
Prabhu Deva and Sridevi teamed up at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards stage to shake their booty. And the adulation they got was thunderous. We just hope that the magical duo comes up with something equally entertaining for the big screens soon.
