Jiah Khan commits suicide at Mumbai

Police said that she committed suicide by hanging herself in her flat at Mumbai on Monday night.

Police further reported that her neighbours, maid, watchman are being inquired to know the information about the last visitors.

Jiah Khan, The 25-year-old actress debuted  in Ram Gopal Verma's film Nishabd in 2007. In this film she acted opposite legendry Amitabh Bachchan.

The film was released in March 2007,  mixed reviews were received for this movie. However, Jiah was noticed for  her attitude,  sex appeal, and  confidence.

She was nominated for Filmfare Best Debutant.

She was then casted opposite  Aamir Khan  in A.R. Murugadoss's 'Ghajini'.  The film was a   remake in Hindi language of Tamil film by same director.

Subsequently she was seen as a supporting actress in Sajid Khan's multi starrer comedy film 'Housefull' in the year 2010. In this film she acted opposite Akshay Kumar. This was her last film.

Her collegues reacted on Twitter with grief and shock.

First reaction about this incident was from her  first co-star Amitabh Bachchan, he tweeted that it was unbelievable and expressed shock.

Bipasha Basu also tweeted that she was praying god to bless Jiah's soul.

Shahid Kapoor was also casted with Jiah in Chance Pe Dance before being replaced by Genelia D'Souza, he tweeted that the news was very disturbing, shocking and sad to hear about jiah khan.
