This is not just a claim or a statement for gaining publicity as the Bollywood superstar has made it to the Time magazine's list of 100 Most Influential People of 2013. Aamir, who created an international presence with his 2012 TV series Satyamev Jayate, is named as a "pioneer" on the list. Satyamev Jayate examined social and economic issues like female foeticide and medical malpractices and had wide-ranging impact across the country.
