Are you someone who wishes you could say this sentence without slightest doubt but has absolutely no clue where to start from when it comes to taking care of your skin ?.Have you ever tried goggling a skin care routine and found a 10 step long one and thought to yourself nobody got time for that. Let’s be real, with all the late nights and crazy work load we have to complete, Skin care is the least of our concerns and drinking a lot of water and getting 8 hours of sleep doesn’t make the cut.
This article will help you build your routine with the simplest yet effective steps and most importantly steps that do not require a lot of time .Firstly, you need to know what your skin type is. Whether it’s dry, oily, sensitive or normal. Once you know your skin type you can pick products accordingly.
1.Cleansing – To start of your routine you need to cleanse your skin with a cleanser every day. A cleanser will remove all the dust and dirt that gets accumulated on your skin.
2.Exfoliating- The second step is to exfoliate your skin twice or thrice a week with an exfoliating scrub. What this basically does is that is removes all the dead skin cells and give you smooth skin. This step is extremely important because nothing you put on your skin will work unless you exfoliate.
3.Moisturizing- You need to moisturize your skin irrespective of your skin type. Find a moisturizer that concerns your skin type and with a SPF of 30 in it and use it every day. The SPF will protect your skin from the UV rays of the sun and ultimately reduce pre-mature aging. Hydrated skin equals to happy skin.
4.Masking – This step can be done on a weekend when you’re at home chilling. Face masks or packs cater to different skin needs like hydration, dullness, acne etc. Choose one that caters to your skin and do it every week. This will give your skin instant results.
Beautiful skin requires commitment not a miracle. Following these steps and making them a habit will give you the confidence to say the line without a doubt that, in the words of Jay-z, “I got 99 problems but my skin ain’t one”.
