Pink Star priced US$60 million!

The prominent news regarding a perfect 59.60-carat pink diamond known as the "Pink Star" gets exposed. The pink diamond "Pink Star" arouse the excitement at a Sotheby's auction in November with an asking price of US$60 million making it the highest ever discovery at auction for a gemstone.   

As an additional excitement, Mr David Bennett who's the chairman of Sotheby's jewellery division in Europe and the Middle East, said the diamond happens to be the property in the ranks of the

Earth's greatest natural treasures. He expressed in a statement while he emphasized on the actuality that it is difficult to magnify beyond the limits of truth the rarity of vivid pink diamonds weighing only five carats therefore this 59.60 carat stone is simply off any scale.

Excitingly, the sparkling oval-cut rock, which has received the highest possible colour and clarity rating from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), was presented to reporters during Wednesday and will be part of the auction house's Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva on Nov 13.
