French label APC joined hands with rapper and budding fashion artist, Kanye West to come up with a new denim line – “A.P.C Kanye”. The collection is all set to hit the stores on July 14, on the Bastille Day.
While not much details is known about the collaboration yet, the news was tweeted by moth the design house and West on Twitter, which confirmed the news for us.
Kanye tweeted recently to the brand's creative director: "Thank you Jean Touitou for letting me create with you".
To build up further publicity around it, Kanye's website is currently displaying a huge image of an unbuttoned denim jeans with the red and black 'A.P.C. Kanye' label.
West's interest in fashion is a long-standing one. The hip-hop star has already created and launched two ready-to-wear collections, which was showcased in Paris in October 2011 and March 2012.
APC has previously worked with Nike, Vans, and Carhartt.
