‘Bikini Airline’ Vietjet to launch India-Vietnam flights starting from Rs 9

Vietnamese budget airline Vietjet, popularly known as the “bikini airline”, has announced that it will start its operations between India and Vietnam from December this year.
The airline, which is run by a woman entrepreneur Nguyen Thi Phuong Thaoalso, declared special promotional fares for the two new routes under a three-day booking scheme (August 20-22).
During its “three golden days”, the airline is offering "super-saving tickets" priced at Rs 9 onwards.
Without charges, an economy return ticket between Delhi and Ho Chi Minh will cost Rs 4200, the same goes up to Rs 13,750 with charges.
Currently, Vietjet operates around 400 flights every day, carrying more than 80 million passengers to date, with 129 routes covering destinations across Vietnam and international destinations.
The airline is one of the most controversial airlines and reportedly it is in the news for their ‘sexy’ marketing stunts’.
