The Pakistan officials who carried out recovery operations in the plane crash site near Islamabad last night have found the black box of the crashed Boeing.

It is known that a Bhoja Airlines Boeing passenger from Karachi to Rawalpindi lost its contact with the control tower at 6.40 PM on Friday and eventually crashed near a village when it attempted to land. While the 121 people on board were feared killed, 110 bodies have been recovered so far.

The head of the recovery team, Brigadier Sarfaraz Ali has said that the 110 recovered bodies were unable to be identified as they were completely burnt.

While speculations were high as to why the crash took place, Bhoja administrative director Javed Ishaq has told the media that the flight was in good condition and heavy winds brought it down.

The flight was about to land in minutes and an air traffic controller has said that even a signal was given for the flight to land. The locals said there was heavy thunderstorm in Islamabad on Friday evening. According to the police, although none of them on ground were killed, all the people aboard charred to death.

Meanwhile, the Boeing Company expressed its condolences to the kin and kith who lost their loved ones in the crash. (Phani)
