Chief Minister Jayalalitha said today she revoked the disciplinary action against her estranged friend and former aide Ms. Sasikala after the latter had stated that she has severed her links with all her family members who had betrayed the CM.

In a statement in Chennai, Jaya said she said received a letter from Sasikala with the same content mentioned in her media statement. “I accept the explanation and the apologies. The disciplinary action against Sasikala is cancelled,” said the chief minister.

Sasikala in a statement two days ago said she had severed all her links with her friends and relatives who had betrayed the cause of the AIADMK. (J)
