A bizarre incident that come into reckoning in the Uttar Pradesh state as the state is bound to get its youngest CM from Samajwadi party.

Uttar Pradesh had been in news for the entire last week due to its election and the results. But touched the wrong note on Saturday in which a woman in Gonda was set ablaze by a miscreant whom she resisted a rape bid. The woman admitted in the hospital is struggling for life, authorities have yet to apprehend the miscreant. Investigations are on and results are yet to see light.

The entire state celebrating but one woman’s family must be mourning, as the week culminated. The 22-year old woman, whose child had gone to a nearby shop, left the door open. A miscreant entered the house stealthily and tried to molest her. She resisted him and ran out of the house.  A little while later she reentered the house thinking he had left the house. But to her dismay, the miscreant doused her with kerosene from behind while feeding her child and lit fire. The wailing woman was rescued by her neighbors who took her to hospital for treatment. She said the man was attempting to rape her.

The unpardonable beastly act must be dealt firmly and condemned. Human rights activists awoke to a rude shock over the incident. (With inputs from internet- AarKay)
