Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani will be getting married to Shloka Mehta on March 9 this year. Their wedding card invite has been revealed and you can’t fail to notice.
The wedding card is a pop- up box with Lord Krishna and Rukmini photo frame in it. The orange colored card looks adorable as they open the box further. As soon as opened, the oink floral invite has Lord Ganesha's photo and when you flip the page, it has Shloka and Akash's family names printed on it. This one is something that's totally out-of-the-box.
The wedding will take place at the Jio World Centre at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex, followed by "Mangal Parv" celebrations on March 10. The wedding reception will take place on March 11, which will wrap up the entire ceremony.
Akash Ambani proposed Shloka Mehta in Goa in the presence of his close family members. The Ambani family had at that time thrown a lavish pre-engagement party at their residence which was attended by top Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
Akash is the firstborn of the three children of Mukesh and Nita Ambani. He is on the board of Reliance Jio, the group's fast-growing telecom venture.
Shloka, after finishing schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in 2009, went on to study Anthropology at Princeton University and Masters in Law at The London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a director on Rosy Blue Foundation since July 2014. She is also a co-founder of ConnectFor, which matches volunteers with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that need them. She is the youngest daughter of Russell and Mona Mehta, who owns world’s largest diamond trading company Rosy Blue Diamonds.
