Over 1,700 Students of Atlanta to participate in Sold-out musical "Hamilton"

Atlanta:
Public school students of Atlanta, raised $195,000 to purchase 1,700 tickets for high school students, to enjoy the most popular Hamilton musicals on its performance at Atlanta’s Fox theater.
Many contributors like, Coca-cola, Georgia Power, the Kededa Fund, Georgia Natural gas, United Consulting , Sponsored the event, with enough resources, to select and send “under-served” high school students to enjoy the show about American Founding father Alexander Hamilton.
The selected students have been asked to contribute $10 for their ticket.
They will attend performances on May 22 and May 23.
District officials in an online post stated that,
“’Hamilton’ possesses the ability to captivate students and get them thinking critically about the world while inspiring them to take action. The performance has so many positive implications for all students – from cultivating appreciation for American history, to riveting classroom discussions around politics, to sparking future careers in the performing arts. Sophomores have been selected to get them excited about what they will learn in US History next school year,”
The District officials are still trying to raise money, to pay for ceremonial T shirts, and also for the dinner before the show and also with regard to the transportation of participants to the venue.
