The Metro Atlantans are going to get an early Christmas gift just right before the holidays, as Katy Perry is coming to Atlanta in the month of December, the singer announced on Monday. The 12th December Atlanta concert is a part of the Perry's world tour, that will wind through the 43 cities beginning in Ohio in the month of September.
The tour will be in support of the Perry's new album "Witness," which will be released on 9th June. The two singles from the effort, which is the platinum-certified “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley and also the follow-up single, “Bon Appetit” featuring the Atlanta rap group Migos, figure to be featured prominently on her concerts.
The "California Gurls" artist will partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to donate the tickets to club members and also volunteers. Fans who are involved in the Boys & Girls Clubs can sign up at the GlobalCitizen.org for a opportunity to earn some free tickets, according to the Perry's website. One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
