Get ready for the America's favorite polyhedron! It is coming to Atlanta. Don't miss! Atlanta is all set to host UFC 201 on July 30, Atlanta Hawks CEO Steve Koonin announced. The event is scheduled to be take place at Philips Arena in the city.
Steve Koonin tweeted, “Huge news. Philips Arena will be hosting the historic UFC 201 on July 30! Let's welcome Dana white & UFC Fight Pass to ATL with a sellout!”
According to the UFC announcement, the fight will consists Damien Brown against Cesar Arzamendia in the 155-pound class and Siyar Bahadurzada versus Claudio Silva in the 170-pound weight class.
Earlier, the Atlanta hosted UFC 145 in 2012 and UFC 88 in 2008. UFC 201 will be third UFC event going to be held in the Atlanta.
