The severity of migration prevailing in African countries to European territories can be understood by this report. An eight-year-old Ivorian boy was found in a suitcase, after an operator of scanner noticed an abnormality in the container. The case was supposed to reach a Spanish territory (Ceuta) in north Africa.
According to the media reports, a 19-year-old woman took the case via a pedestrian crossing from Morocco into the small Spanish-governed territory. When it was sent through a scanner, they found the minor inside the suitcase. The police have arrested the woman, who tried to carry the bag. And they also have taken the boy’s father into custody, who tried to cross the border a few hours later. He is an Ivorian and lives in Spain's Canary Islands. He was detained after the court’s order.
Thousands of migrants illegally cross the border through the sea route, fence loops, containers and cargo vehicles for better livelihood.
