Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is facing arrest with a non-bailable arrest warrant aginsr her for not attending court. The actress had failed to appear at court in relation to a cheque bouncing case.

Zinta too is bouncing off to other countries, according to reports, and not available to attend court. Andheri's local metropolitan magistrate's court issued the warrant. Earlier too, the court fined the actress Rs 5,000 for failing to attend the hearing. She has reportedly missed the last hearing on Thursday.

Her lawyer Ratneshwar Jha confirmed to the media that the court has indeed issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Preity. "We will move the court to cancel the warrant or we will move the Bombay high court and file a writ," he said.

Ishkq in Paris dialogue writer Abbas Tyrewala filed the case against the actress after a cheque of Rs 18.9 lakh bounced. The film, in which Preity Zinta was the lead actress, released last year. This time its not fans but the Mumbai police who must be waiting for Preity at the airport.
