A transvestite gave birth to a baby boy recently to become the first transgender man to deliver a child in Europe.

The unidentified man, who was apparently a woman by birth, conceived through a sperm donor and delivered at home with a midwife in the poor Neukoellin district of Berlin.

The transgender insisted on a delivery at home as he didn't wish to be listed as a mother on any hospital documents.

This isn't the first time a man has given birth to a child. Previously, in the U.S, a transgender Thomas Beatie delivered three kids, becoming the first ever man on earth to do so.

The German father, who retained the reproductive organs of a woman, has been ingesting hormone replacement therapies for years to switch sexes.

The details about the sperm donor or any relationship information has been withheld from the public, as the father did not want any unwarranted attention for his son.
