A 20-year-old American vacationist along with two Spaniards were trampled by a raging bull on Friday during the bull run show in Pamplona, Spain.
Although authorities refuse to specify the nature of injuries indicted on the American, one of the Spaniard injured is believed to have suffered minor wounds.
In yet another case reported, three bull-runners, including a 48-year-old American were injured during the run. This was apparently the first accident reported in the bull-run festival this year. The bull-run festival, which kick started on Sunday, is usually held for just 2-5 minutes.
Pamplona's San Fermin festival 2013, which is among the scores of bull-running event held in Spain every year, was brought to fame by Ernest Hemingway's novel "The Sun Also Rises".
Participants, donned in white shirt and red kerchiefs, booze all night before the run next morning.
The last casualty to take place in bull run was in 2009, when a 27-year-old from Madrid was gored to death. As many as 14 fatalities have been reported over the past century.
