A rare sight of Superman flying in the skies of California left the denizens baffled on Friday.
On investigating, it was found that a life-sized model of a radio operated Superman was tested by designer Otto Dieffenbach in San Diego, California, on June 27, 2013.
An engineer by profession and a die-hard superhero fan, Otto Dieffenbach latest gadget, fashioned after his favorite comic book superhero, flies at a speed of 30 miles per hour and comes with a hefty price tag of £5,000.
Previously, Otto had made flying versions of other superheroes like the Iron Man and Green Lantern.
The flying robotic Superman was first spotted by Kyle Gough while cycling along the U.S. West coast.
