Ratnarashi had to undergo distress yet she never turned back
Ratnarashi Pande who happens to be a woman from Bhopal known to have unyieldingly fought as well have won a court war for all child bride victims the right to a government job. Ratnarashi even had sent her petition to the supreme court, furthering to that a notice was sent to the Shivraj Singh Chauhan-led Bharatiya Janata Party government in Madhya Pradesh, subsequently forcing the government to give it a halt at the same time change the rule that deprived the qualification from government job for those who have been married when they were minors.
Furthermore, the Digvijay Singh-led congress party in 2002, had imposed a discouragement against child marriage while introducing the rule due to the fact that such marriages are widespread in the state. On the contrary it ended up going against the victims than those who forced them into marriage as minors.
Ratnrashi who presently 36, at the same time a mother of two children, was one of those victim who was married at the age of 14. Even though the fact remain that Ratnarashi is now divorced. She expresses her happiness with the outcome as well aspiring to trying to get a government job once she manages to clear the State Public Service Commission’s (SPSC) exams following with an interview to be eligible for the job. Earlier, the SPSC had rejected her examination forms which furthered her to approach the High Court in 2008 for appearing in the preliminary exams which in fact got her petition discarded on the grounds that Rule 6 (5) which was presented to the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services Rules with an intention towards an effective hindrance against child marriage.
Ratnarashi, whose husband never obtained good education at the same time was lacking in a state of being inclined towards taking care of the children, had deliberately forced her to rise with violent effort during the crucial phase of her married life. On the contrary she was assured as well desperate to give her children a secured future. Due to that very reason she never turned back rather furthered towards the highest judicial authority while forcing them to issue notices to the state governments at the same time the state services commissions who was know to have asked them to keep one post vacant for her which is appointed for the final hearing. Ratnarashi was enforced to be apart from her two children, a daughter and a son, in the care of her parents on the contrary she carried forward her studies as well as achieved good marks as a science graduate and arts postgraduate.
On the contrary while concluding with the rule seems to have not done fair enough with the congress party which was revealed in a leader's comment that the rule have been the reason to drag child marriages to the extremity. On the contrary presently parents in rural areas while taking advantage of the situation will be encouraged to get their children married at an early age. Moreover, Ratnarashi added that at the present generation and society parents realized and understood that their children need to obtain a good education before they could get married and settle in life. Due to that factor, child marriages seems to be still prevalent among those who fall below poverty-line at the same time remained illiterate and never happened to get exposed towards the negative element hidden behind those exploitation and therefore they were quiet obviously left behind being not successful in gaining realization. Furthermore, lack of education have been an add on to the drawback.
Child marriage is a social crime which deteriorates the cultural and heritage value of our society and nation at large.
