The 93rd Academy Awards event or the Oscar Awards event for the year 2021 took place in USA's Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California on the evening of Sunday. It was a star-studded event that was delayed from January this year because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Nomadland won the Best Film award for the year and Anthony Hopkins is the Best Actor for his outstanding performance in the film 'The Father'. Frances McDormand is awarded with the Best Actress Award for her performance in Nomadland. Chloe Zhao is the Best Director for her work for Nomadland.
