Seems 2014 is going to be a year of major hitch-ups in Hollywood!

Recently, Miss Amber Heard was caught in the camera wearing a  big diamond on her ringer. Despite a good effort to conceal it, the eagle-eyed paparazzo got a bird's-eye view of the rock as Heard was spotted leaving a restaurant with a gal pal last night in Los Angeles.

While Amber Heard (27) and Johnny Depp (50) are yet to make an official proclamation of any engagement yet, seems the couple is betrothed.

Until very recently, only vague references of their romance grabbed headlines. However, tongues started wagging and gossip mill went into an overdrive after the duo made their official red-carpet debut as a couple on Saturday at the Art of Elysium gala at L.A.'s Skirball Center. Not just that, they also presented at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.

Depp met Heard during the shooting of 'The Rum Diary' (2011). He will be doing a cameo in her latest movie 'London Fields'.

If Depp has really popped a proposal, this would be the actor's first marriage.

Depp split with his long-time girlfriend and the mother of his children  Lily Rose and Jack, Vanessa Paradis in 2012 after 14 years together. The split was amicable.

Heard was previously linked to photographer Tasya van Ree whom she dated for about four years.
