Guess whom did the paparazzi caught together on the New Year again — Hollywood's most speculated lovebirds Charlize Theron and Sean Penn.

The twosome apparently zoomed off to Hawaii before heading back to L.A. together on New Year's Day (where they tried to masquerade their identity).

Twitteratis apparently spotted the pair together in the days before Christmas in the Waikiki area of Oahu, and on Dec. 30, the assumed-to-be-couple was photographed relaxing on the beach with another pal.

E!Online reports that Charlize (38) and Sean (53) spent time together after returning to California. They were even caught exiting from Charlize's Hollywood Hills, Calif., home around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2. But while Charlize drove out in her Lexus, Sean wheeled behind in his truck.

Charlize and Seth have been romantically linked in the press before, but the pals haven't behaved in any way to indicate they're more than just friends.
