Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has dropped the $50 Million lawsuit against In Touch and Life & Style magazines's publisher, said his lawyer. However the terms of the settlement were not revealed stating that it was confidential.

Bauer Publishing was sued by Tom Cruise in 2012 for defamation following the publishing of cover stories related to the actor's split with ex-wife Katie Holmes and his relation with daughter Suri. For the defamation, Cruise had sought $50 million from the publisher. The actor had especially challenged headlines suggesting that Cruise had “abandoned” Suri.
