It is time for Christmas and you are probably early awaiting your New Year 2016. This festive season consider preparing your first homemade cake cup. It will remain in your memories for many years to come. Check out the basic cup cake recipe for beginners.
Ingredients required to make cup cake
unsalted butter, softened: 250g (8oz)
caster sugar: 250g (8oz)
self-raising flour: 250g (8oz)
milk: 4 tablespoons
salt: Pinch
eggs: 4 medium
Ice-cream scoop an option
2 x 12-hole muffin tins, lined with paper cases
How to make a simple cup cake
• Set your oven to 190C, gas 5.
• Beat the butter in a bowl and beat it until softened.
• Add flour, sugar, eggs, salt and milk.
• Whisk until smooth
• Divide the mixture between paper cases using traditional-style ice-cream scoop, or spoon.
• Bake the muffin tins in oven and bake for 15 minutes.
• Swap the position of the tins over.
• Bake for more 5 to 7 minutes.
• Both cupcake trays turn light golden color.
• Leave the cupcakes to cool after removing from the oven.
• After few minutes, transfer to a wire rack to cool
