To make the outer dough you need to mix maida, salt, turmeric power and water as we do for poori and roti preparation. You can add ghee or oil for making the paste well. Let the paste aside for 30 minutes.

Recipe of the Day

For preparing the poornam or stuff, take boiled chanadal (in semi paste condition) add the grinded pate to coconut and jiggery make the mix into a coarse paste

Make the maida mix into pooris of larger size, and make the poornam stuff into balls. It is advised that for better preparation do small balls to avoid rupture of the maida dough. Place the poornam balls on poori and cover the balls with that poori and roll on the covered balls with roller without hurting the outer cover. Place that on pan and make that outer poori into brownish both sides with oil or ghee.

You can serve the Bobbatlu or Booralu hot with ghee and tasty chutney.
