2. Peel the beets, ginger and carrots and cut them into long pieces.
3. Put all the ingredients in a blender and make a juice.
4. Squeeze half a lemon into the prepared juice, mix well and pour into a chilled serving glass. Drink immediately.
Benefits of eating beets and carrots for menstrual cramps:
Fatigue is a common problem for many women during menopause. This is often caused by the loss of iron through the blood. In such cases, beets are a natural solution, as they are a rich source of iron. Iron is important for the production of hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to the body's tissues. Beetroot contains betaine, which has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps relieve the pain and discomfort associated with menstrual cramps. It helps reduce inflammation and can act as a mild pain reliever. Therefore, it is recommended to drink beetroot juice during menstruation. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene and vitamin A, powerful antioxidants that protect cells and reduce the risk of certain diseases. It helps regulate blood flow during menstruation. To get the benefits of carrot juice without consuming too much vitamin A or beta-carotene, limit your intake to 1/2 cup or 4 ounces per day.
