Badam milk, as the name suggests the drink is made up of badams or almonds. This delicious, thick drink is usually loved by many of us. But, have you ever tried to prepare it at home. If not, it is never late to make it yourself for the sake of your dear ones. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients required for Badam milk recipe

Milk: 600 ml
Sugar: 3 tbsp
Almonds soaked in water: 20
Saffron strands: few
How to make badam milk
Soak almonds overnight in normal water or for an hour in hot water.
Peel off the skin and grind badam until smooth with the nearly 100 ml cold milk.
Add saffron strands to little amount of warm milk to get a good yellow color to the milk. Keep it aside.
Boil the remaining milk in a kadai or boiler.
As the milk gets boiled, add the badam paste.
Keep stirring occasionally to avoid lumps or burning at the bottom.
Add sugar and stir till it gets dissolved.
Finally add soaked saffrons strands with milk.
Badam milk is ready. You may even add rose essence if you want to.
It can be served hot or cold.
