Minister Raghuveera Reddy has said that criticizing its chief minister was not a new affair to the Congress Party. He made this statement since a few Congress members leveled allegations against the former chief minister late Y S Rajashekara Reddy. Raghuveera Reddy—in a sarcastic tone—has said that the greatness of commenting on leaders like Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy and P V Narasimha Rao goes to Congress Party leaders.
Addressing the media in Anantapur, Raghuveera has said that YSR was the permanent member of the Congress Party. To make a point he has said that Y S became a Congress person right from his birth. There had been a strong relationship between YSR and Congress Party, he added. When asked about his reaction on Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy’s action, Raghuveera stressed that Jagan, who moved out of the Congress Party, is now trying to trouble and damage the party. Meanwhile, Amalapuram MP Harsha Kumar has leveled serious allegations on YSR. He alleged that Rajashekara Reddy was against dalits. He has also said that he was ready to prove as to how much damage YSR had done to dalits. He has also said that he even spoke about it publicly in 2009 during mala simhagharjana. Commenting on Jagan, despite winning twice as MP, Jagan didn’t do undertake any developmental programmes in his constituency. (Phani)
