To boost the EV segment in India, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is currently preparing to install around 600 fast charging stations. In its official press release, the company said that the target will be achieved in the next seven years and customers can achieve greater success in the electric vehicle segment. According to the brand, there will be a network of 50 public fast charging stations by the end of the year. It will contribute significantly to the country's electric vehicle infrastructure and play a key role in India's clean energy transition. For the convenience of all electric vehicle buyers, HMIL charging stations are available for all 4W electric vehicles manufactured in India. These stations are strategically located with amenities such as cafes, restaurants and shopping malls.
Customers are also assisted by marshals, and 24-hour video surveillance provides enhanced security. Meanwhile, HMIL has been in charge of the country's energy sector for a long time. The company currently serves more than 7.30 thousand devices through its charging network with around 50,000 charging sessions. More than 10,000 customers of electric vehicles from Hyundai and other manufacturers benefited.
