The Tata Nexon, a sub-compact SUV, has received excellent safety ratings from the Bharat NCAP facility. It achieved the highest possible 5-star ratings for both adult and child occupant protection. This new generation of the Nexon had previously earned a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP as well. The previous Nexon model was also the first Tata vehicle to earn a 5-star rating from Global NCAP. Alongside the Nexon, the newly launched Tata Curvv ICE and Curvv EV models also received similar 5-star ratings. Earlier this year, the Nexon EV also earned a 5-star safety rating. The top-spec Nexon Fearless model was tested by the Bharat NCAP, and the ratings apply to the entire Nexon lineup. The Nexon performed well in all the crash tests, including frontal offset, side barrier, and side pole impact tests, providing good and adequate protection for passengers. The Bharat NCAP crash testing program has been in place for only the past year, with the Tata Harrier and Safari being among the first vehicles tested. Additionally, the Tata Nexon has recently gained a new CNG variant.
