Axis Bank has partnered with internet business giant Amazon's Indian wing and also Singapore based Overseas Chinese Banking Corp's unit to help Indian start-ups with their technology related questions.
The Bengaluru based centre called Thought Factory will help Indian start-ups to interact with Amazon to get solutions to their questions regarding technology at free of cost.
It has partnered also with global cards and payment company Visa to help start-ups to incorporate innovation in payments.
Rajiv Anand, executive director at Axis Bank said, "Our first batch of startups, due to join in September, will build interesting use cases for AI, Blockchain, Big Data Analytics, robotics and much more that can take consumer banking to the next level”.
Amazon Internet Services Pvt. Ltd (AISPL) has planned to host events at Thought Factory for further engagement with startups.
Bikram Bedi, Managing Director, AISPL, India has said, "We are excited to partner with Axis Bank on the Thought Factory 'Social' and we see this as an opportunity to further promote the startup ecosystem by hosting interesting startup events, thought leadership talks, bootcamps, startup pitches, etc. Startups will also get to benefit from regular architecture review and Ask-an-architect sessions to improve their technology stack implementation" .
